Venttilation

the pollutants inside the home have no means of escape.  The pollutants will linger and become more concentrated.  A lack of proper ventilation creates an unhealthy indoor breathing environment.  According to the experts, proper ventilation is one of the most important steps in reducing the pollution in your home.

Humidity Control

Maintaining relative humidity below 50% prevents dust mite infestation, mold and mildew growth, and inhibits bacteria.  This lower relative also reduces the out-gassing of VOCs and creates a less hospitable climate for many "bugs", including centipedes, silver-fish, and spiders.

Air Filtration:

Air filtration is a critical compent of good indoor quality.  Even the best kept home will have dust, pollen, mold spores and other allergens in the air .  Select with a minimum MERV 11 rating.  If there is a need to remove even smaller particulates, select a HEPA filter.  All true HEPA's have a MERV 20 rating.
